Restaurants in

Incline Village

Incline Village has a wide variety of restaurants to suit just about any taste. They are  mostly located either along Hwy 28 (Tahoe Blvd) or on Country Club Drive, near the Hyatt casino hotel.

We’ll offer you some of our favorites to help narrow your choice.

Restaurants Beyond

Incline Village

The Lake Tahoe area offers some great restaurants beyond Incline Village. If you are up for the drive, we’ll point you to some we think are worth the effort. There are many more than we can list and they change frequently - so don’t be limited by what you see here.

Local Favorites in Incline Village

Pub & Bar Food :

Gus’ :  Excellent smokehouse BBQ in a pub atmosphere. Downstairs is walk-up to order; upstairs is where you’ll find the bar with big-screen TV and get full table service.

The Village Pub : Very close ! Excellent burgers and sandwiches. A real “Local”. Open late and usually the last place available for all you hardened drinkers. Shoot pool and play shuffle-board here. NOT kid friendly !

Rookie’s : A classic sports bar located in the Raley’s shopping center. It offers the usual choice of burgers; sandwiches; pizza and salads.

Crosby’s : Located just across the street in the “Christmas Tree Center” Crosby’s offer classic pub food and either patio or inside dining. Service can be “Iffy” when they are busy.

Casual Dining :

Bite :  One of our absolute favorites for dinner or happy-hour. “American Tapas” style, featuring small plates of modern American cuisine. Great wines and beer. Watch out ! It can get expensive if you go overboard and sample the whole menu - as we often have !

Austin’s : A small, homey restaurant with a good selection of comfort food - from salad, through meatloaf, to steaks. Great for families.

Mofo’s Pizza and Pasta : Great for families and just a short walk from the condo. Eat-in or take-out, Mofo’s offers great classic pizza and a lively atmosphere.

Tomaato’s : An alternative to Mofo’s that’s well worth checking out. They offer a wide selection of specialty pizzas, unique toppings, fancy salads and pastas. While not as walkable, they deliver.

Lupitas Mexican Restaurant : Located in the Village Center, we think this is the best Mexican restaurant in Incline. It may lack a little in looks and atmosphere but the food is a notch above Hacienda (Tahoe Blvd). A few margaritas will definitely help improve the understated ambiance.

Azzara’s Italian Restaurant : Our local, family owned Italian eatery. Perfect for when you need your pasta fix.

La Fondue : Let’s face it, your ski trip is not complete without an evening of Fondue. This is the place for it. Close your eyes and you could almost be in Switzerland.

T’s Mesquite Rotisserie : An alternative to Gus’ if you want quick rotisserie with a Mexican slant. T’s offers chicken, tri-tip, burritos and a selection of simple sides. Seating is limited and basic. Great for take-out and a beer while you wait.

Thai Recipe : Traditional Thai food. Since Incline does not have it’s own Indian restaurant - this is likely your best spicy alternative when you need to satisfy a curry craving.

Upscale Dining :

Jack Rabbit Moon : Modern American cuisine in a small and intimate environment. The food and service are both excellent; the wine list extensive. Great for special evenings and you don’t even need to drive - it’s almost on the doorstep.

Big Water Grille : Upscale dining with a great big view. A little off the beaten path (close to Diamond Peak) but well worth driving up the hill. Classic American fine dining featuring great steaks, poultry and seafood.

Lone Eagle Grille : Fantastic Tahoe lakefront ambiance.  A true Lake Tahoe classic featuring a wide selection of steaks and other, more exotic, game meats. Pricey, but worth it when you want to splurge or for that major celebration. Even if you chose not to dine in the main restaurant, the roomy and elegant bar is still worth a visit and the more limited bar menu is also excellent.

Favorites Beyond Incline Village

Kings Beach :

Jason’s Beachside Grille : A casual pub & eatery on the lake. Jason’s is one of our go-to places... Check out the prime rib !

Caliente : A lively Mexican restaurant with a roof-top patio and a fine selection of cocktails ! Come here for the atmosphere - not necessarily the food...

Log Cabin Caffe  : We think this is the best breakfast in North Tahoe. Be prepared to wait - they get busy. Open for breakfast and lunch only.

Tahoe City :

Jake’s On The Lake : It can be a little obscure to find especially from the road but well worthwhile. A fantastic patio dining experience in the summer with great lake views and excellent American/Hawaiian cuisine.

Blue Agave : A comfy Mexican cantina with fine margaritas and good food.
