About The Condo Manual
This Condo Manual is intended to provide a central location to answer all your questions about the condo. It includes essential information you must know about how to start-up and shut-down the condo at the beginning and end of your stay. It is especially important to read and follow these procedures during the winter months in order to avoid potential damage from the cold climate.
We have included the Home Owners Association Rules and Regulations as required by the HOA. Please read these and abide by them so that we can keep our neighbors happy and continue to allow others to enjoy the condo.
We suggest you take a look at the Great Room TV Quick Guide. This will help you to get the cable TV and DVD system up and running quickly. It will also give you suggestions about how to reconfigure input selections in the event that our previous guests changed something critical... “**it” happens !
You will find essential information on how to operate the TV, DVD and CD systems. Information about how to connect to and use the Wi-Fi network and Internet connection.
Finally you will find on-line manuals for the kitchen and laundry appliances to help you get the best out of these and best enjoy your stay.
Wi-Fi
The condo has a private Wi-Fi network which connects to the Charter Cable internet gateway providing a high speed internet connection throughout the unit. Both the Wi-Fi router and the Charter gateway are physically located in the master bedroom, behind the TV.
To connect, look for “pdfnet” on your device. The necessary network password is provided by notices located on the kitchen refrigerator and on the master bedroom TV’s right foot.
Please, under no circumstances, reset or otherwise modify the settings of the router. If you cannot see “pdfnet”, then, as a last resort, you can try power-cycling the router. If you can see “pdfnet” and can connect, but you still have no external connection then power-cycle the Charter gateway first followed by the router once the lights on the charter box have lit. (1-2 minutes).
